Field Service Manager
Field Service Manager
Location: Houston, TX (77040).
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Manager to oversee our team of field service technicians, coordinate service schedules, maintain high customer satisfaction standards, and work collaboratively with our operations manager. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical aptitude, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee scheduling, product transfers, and Inventory Control through company CRM
- Manage technicians and Field Service Coordinator
- Oversee warehouse facilities
- Take responsibility for day-to-day operations
- Lead Department training initiatives
- Create and implement SOPs for Field Services Department
- Provide technicians with necessary tools to complete daily tasks
- Maintain and monitor safety guidelines to ensure compliance with company standards
- Oversee the maintenance of company fleet, including:
- Scheduling repairs and maintenance
- Managing vehicle tracking and maintenance software
- Forecasting Preventative Maintenance & Repair costs annually
- Review and analyze production metrics
- Travel up to 25%
Qualifications
- Proven leadership and management experience
- Strong technical aptitude
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic environment
- Detail-oriented mindset
- Self-motivated with ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience in process improvement methodologies
- Background in production operations
- Expertise in inventory control systems
- Experience working with performance metrics
- Customer Relationship Management experience
