Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk Department: Production
Pay Rate: $17-18 DOE
Job Summary: The shipping and Receiving Clerk plays a pivotal role ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of goods in and out of our organization. If you have strong organizational skills, an eye for detail and a commitment to timely and efficient shipping and receiving operations we encourage you to apply.

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities
• Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as picking tickets to verify accuracy.
• Prepare documents such as quality documents, shipping labels, BOLs.
• Work with Quality Control to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
• Pack, seal, crate and label materials for shipping
• Contact carrier representatives to arrange or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
• Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped.
• Compare shipping routes or methods to determine which is the most economical.
• Follow safety and quality standards
• Operate forklift.
• Warehouse organization and maintenance
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Knowledge, & Skills:
• 2+ years of shipping/receiving experience.
• 2+ years of inventory management experience
• High school level Math & English literacy
• Punctual & dependable

• Computer literacy

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift to 60lbs regularly.
• Ability to remain on feet for long periods.
• Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
