Flatbed Logistics Coordinator

Job Responsibilities & Key Qualities:

• The coordinator will attend in-house training for a minimum of one month at our Spring, TX, office
• Will remain an in-office role until management agrees that hybrid role can commence
• Track shipments and resolve issues between customers, carriers, and the sales team
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships
• Monitor and respond to daily emails and phone calls
• Quote multiple transit modes (Expedited, FTL, PTL) and offer proactive solutions
• Build, source, and schedule shipments; daily bidding on our customer's online portals
• Negotiate, dispatch, and assign carriers with a sense of urgency
• Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and colleagues
• Strong written and verbal communication, with professional phone and email etiquette
• Ability to multi-task efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong organizational, planning, and execution skills
• Self-motivated, critical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
• Cross-train in other logistics functions as needed
• Participate in team meetings to foster productivity and efficiency
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Punctual and reliable with good attendance
