General Laborer

General Labor - $17.00

A company in New Caney, TX is hiring for General Laborers to set up a new furniture store opening. The ideal candidate will be able to handle furniture unloading, positioning throughout the store, and team lifting of boxes and supplies. This is a temporary 4-week assignment. Responsibilities:

•  Unload and position furniture throughout the store
• Team lift, push, and pull furniture, boxes, and supplies
• Safely navigate store environment, including ladder use
• Assist with furniture assembly as needed

Physical Demands: 

• Normal standing, walking, bending and twisting as necessary to perform job duties.
• Ability to team lift 100+ pounds throughout shift
• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity
• Capable of being on feet for full shift
• Must be able to safely ascend/descend ladders

Requirements:

• Must be able to work the full 4 Weeks and Full shift
  • Duration: September 22 - October 17 (4 weeks)
    Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
