Plastics Technician

Client of Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for: 

Position: Plastic Technician 

Hourly Pay rate: $17
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Availability: Must be available to work Fridays as needed
Breaks: 30-minute lunch, two 15-minute breaks at 10 AM and 3 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week, plus potential overtime

Job Duties:

• Produce plastic parts following detailed work instructions
• Accurately weigh, mix, and heat liquid resins
• Pour and heat molds in ovens
• Safely handle hot molds in and out of ovens
• Manage and lift 5-gallon pails of liquid material
• Meet daily production quotas and document progress on activity reports
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Extensive training provided

Requirements:

• Excellent attendance is a must
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Basic math skills required
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, and bend for 8-10 hours per day
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Good communication skills
• Follow all guidelines and procedures
• Attention to detail
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required
