Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Weiler CNC Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality machined parts, including API connections, through the setup and operation of manual and CNC machine lathes.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate Weiler CNC lathes and manual machines to manufacture precision parts according to engineering specifications
• Produce API connections and other critical drilling components while maintaining strict quality standards
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machining requirements
• Perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality
• Verify first article inspection and maintain proper documentation
• Maintain equipment through regular cleaning and preventive maintenance
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance team as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience operating Weiler CNC lathes
• Demonstrated proficiency in CNC programming and operation
• Experience with API connection manufacturing
• Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and GD&T
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining processes
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification preferred
