Shipping/Receiving Supervisor

A client of Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for a Shipping and Receiving Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Manager
Pay Rate: $20–$25/hour

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 6:45 AM to 5:30 PM
• Friday: As needed – must be available
• Includes a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks (10:00 AM & 3:00 PM)
• 40 hours/week plus potential overtime

Job Duties:

• Supervise up to 10 employees in the Shipping/Receiving department
• Assign tasks to Parts Trimmers and Shipping/Receiving staff
• Ensure efficient movement of parts through departments: Machine Shop, Trimming, QC
• Oversee accurate and timely customer shipments
• Monitor shipping schedules and ensure deadlines are met
• Count, label, and securely package parts for shipment
• Verify and inspect incoming vendor shipments
• Distribute received materials to appropriate warehouse departments
• Maintain inventory and shipping/warehouse supplies
• Keep work areas clean and safe
• Enforce and follow all safety policies

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Shipping and Receiving experience
• 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• Forklift experience a plus
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend for 8–10 hours/day
• Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and reliability
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass pre-employment drug and background screening
• Reliable transportation required
